You can always tell when I come this close to losing it. For the amount of stuff I cram into a day I rarely bite off more than I can chew. Well I hit that invisible wall this weekend and I think I have just been laying there sprawled out on the ground beneath it, feeling sorry for myself. I haven’t blogged in a week, I avoided Twitter for a days. If you are guessing that just made me feel worse you’re right. It just couldn’t be helped.

I missed a street team post though and that was KILLER it’s still not ready. But I wanted to share some details, so maybe the hate mail will stop.

What is the Street Team? (This is that revolution I’ve been talking about—it’s a lit revolution)
It is people I love and love (or at least respect me) back, spreading the word about my books, my contests, my blog, and best of all my friends! All this in exchange for free stuff and me being your best friend

How do I be a part of the madness?
There will be several ways which you can be involved. Here are some examples:

-Putting The Street Team button on your blog/facebook/google plus etc.
-Stalking me all over the internets
-Doing book reviews/ posts about the afore mentioned subjects on your blog, goodreads, facebook, amazon, bn.com, ANYWHERE YOU CAN PUT IT WITH OUT GETTING IN TROUBLE
-Tweeting about the afore mentioned subjects
-Being creative in your endeavors
-Adding my books to your goodreads TBR list (and reading them)
-Getting other people to join the street team!
-Being a Street Team TEAMSTER, that’s code for Street Team leader

When does it start?
The official launch day has been moved to October 17th, the Monday before Skeleton Lake is released, but we are going to have our first Street Team contest starting today!
